Leadership

Adrian I. Martinez

Co-Founder, President, and CEO

Mr. Martinez’s 20-year US Army career included 10 years of Foreign Area Officer and Military Attaché assignments in Central America, South America and Africa.  After retiring, he served at the US Central Command Intelligence Directorate in Tampa, with multiple deployments to the USCENTCOM AOR. In 2006 he co-founded EKS Group to continue serving the intelligence community.

Originally from Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, Mr. Martinez received a B.S. from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and a M.A. from the University of Florida. He currently serves as a member of the Governing Board for the International Spy Museum.

Michael Lacombe

Managing Partner and Vice President of Strategy

Mr. Lacombe is a 28-year veteran of the Central Intelligence Agency’s Directorate of Operations with 10 years in the ranks of the Senior Intelligence Service (SIS).

He retired in 2018 as an SIS-4 having served in multiple senior leadership positions, including four war zone tours with two as Chief of Station. Mr. Lacombe also served as the Chief of the Agency’s Operational Training School. Mr. Lacombe is the recipient of numerous awards including CIA’s Distinguished Career Intelligence Medal and the Presidential Rank Award. Prior to joining CIA,

Mr. Lacombe served as an officer in the US Air Force. He earned a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts and a M.A. from Central Michigan University.

Maria I. Rey

COO

Mrs. Rey has 13+ years in federal contracting. She successfully led program management, operations, contract management, and finance & accounting teams, previously holding the titles of Director of Program Management and Contracts Administrator for EKS Group. As COO, Maria oversees execution and delivery for EKS programs, and directs the corporate support staff to ensure mission focus and customer success. Maria is a Certified Program Management Professional (PMP) with a Master of Business Administration from the University of Tampa.

Noel Igot

CFO

As the EKS CFO, Mr. Igot provides financial leadership to our executive team through his 24+ years of accounting and finance expertise. He is also the CEO of Igot Solutions, Inc. providing business and real estate advisory services. Mr. Igot is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).

James N. Davis

VP of Business Growth

Mr. Davis has 15+ years providing management and professional support to federal contracting firms in the intelligence and training fields. He successfully led business development, human resources, and program management teams; previously holding the titles of Director of Capture Management and Director of Administration for EKS Group. Prior to EKS, Mr. Davis provided nine years of intelligence analysis, operations, and targeting support at US Central Command headquarters with multiple war zone deployments. He is Shipley certified in Business Development and earned an M.Ed. and a B.A. from the University of Florida.

Brian Busch

Director of Information Security

Mr. Busch has 21 year’s experience as a US Marine Corps intelligence professional including numerous operational deployments and support to the Presidential Helicopter Squadron. After retiring, he served at US Army Intelligence and Security Command and US Central Command’s Intelligence Directorate in Tampa, with multiple deployments to combat zones. In 2006 he joined EKS Group as a Program Manager. Since 2018, Mr. Busch has served as the Director of Information Security focusing on corporate technology and cyber compliance. Mr. Busch received his B.S. in Criminal Justice from Park University and MS in Cybersecurity from the University of South Florida.

Kimberly Marshall

Director of Human Resources

Mrs. Marshall is a 22-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force. She has 6+ years in federal contracting focused on personnel management and human resources.  After retirement, she served in U.S. Special Operations Command and U.S. Central Command providing personnel services, which included strategic direction in deconflicting global force management of forces and updating unit-level global force management forces’ policies, directives, and standard operating procedures. Her duties also included being a deputy site lead, managing requirements annotated by the contract and company policies.  Kim has two Associates of Science degrees and a Bachelor of Science degrees from Liberty University.

Caila Norton

Director of Operations

Mrs. Norton has 11+ years of proven leadership in federal contracting. She has successfully led surveillance roleplaying, and law enforcement training operations across the United States. As Director of Operations, Caila oversees all aspects of company programs and contracts, provides leadership to program managers and operational personnel, and ensures client satisfaction. Caila earned an M.S. in Criminal Justice (Analysis of Criminal Behavior) from the University of Cincinnati and a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Saint Leo University.
